Why not Brad Hawpe?

Last year, the majority of giants fans felt that the Aubrey Huff signing was a mediocre signing at best. Aubrey Huff was coming off his worst season of his career, and it seemed like it would be hard for him to produce in a predominantly  pitchers ballpark. Man, did he prove us wrong. I feel that Brad Hawpe could be the same player for us this year. Sure he hit .245 last year with only 9 homeruns, but look at the four years before that. He hit .293, .291,  .283, .285 and hit atleast 20 homeruns in each season. Now I know the main argument will be that he played those 4 seasons in Coors field, but still not every average joe that plays in Colorado drops 20 bombs. With Sabean saying he wants a left handed bat, Hawpe seams like a great option for a fourth outfielder, or maybe even a starter. Sure he's not Crawford, but he is a cheap option that has a lot of upside. There is my pitch, lets get this done Sabean.
