Poll (1 of 2): Culberson
The conversation on the Community Prospect List #7 Poll got me wondering about just where we all view the proper ranking of both Charlie Culberson and Chuckie Jones. Lots of folks seemed to think neither player belonged that high. So let's see what you think. Here's Part the First of a two-part poll.
Prospect fans, what say you about erstwhile secondbaseman Charlie Culberson? (please note that Chuckie Jones' poll should be posted shortly after this one):

That should be “where in YOUR personal rakings…”
Mods, is there a way to edit your polls after you’ve published them?

When you edit your Fanpost, click the pencil icon next to the poll. That should take you to a box to edit it.

So, let me get this straight...
We had a poll for prospect #7 and it was close, so we had a run-off poll. Now we’re having polls reagarding the polls?
Never let it be said that the McCoven are not thorough!
The thong is, it happened.
Or that we don’t know how to massage our polls.

I know you’re mostly having fun, but I really got the sense that the CW#7 poll wasn’t accurately capturing the sense of the community, and this was my attempt to get a better handle on how we actually perceived these two players.
I still, think, that we would each fill out a blank ballot and send it in to one central person, ranking the prospects 1-30 (or whatever). Then, similar to ROY voting and other votes, we’d assign 30 points to a first-place vote, 29 points to a second-place vote, etc, etc. Weighting the voting that way would give us a better snapshot of how the group really values the prospects.

I was totally having fun.
The prospect polling process is something I follow only casually after about the top 5, anyway.
The thong is, it happened.
