It was good of you to post this. I hope he gets enough people :).

Do a good deed and donate at your local blood bank

For whatever reason, blood donations dip during the Winter Holidays. So, if you have the time and haven’t been using intravenous drugs (yes, I’m talking to you, Jose Guillen) you might want to think about donating a pint. Known goof, biff pocoroba, donated triple platelets via apheresis yesterday, and I’m now two visits away from my seven gallon mark*.

The Whole Blood donations only take about twenty minutes, after which you can stuff your face with free Lorna Doone shortbread cookies and cranberry juice…a truly underrated combo.

*Not all seven gallons were donated at once. That would have been a record.

i give to hobos/bums every few months or so

usually when i spot them outside the Dollar Tree i just give 3-4 items of food like pepperoni or Crunch n Munch….and last year when i went to Little Caeser’s i’d buy an extra pizza and 2 liter soda to give to the people hanging around outside the library…did that a few times….

usually they are appreciative sometimes you get some rude remarks though…..

Do you call them hobos and bums whilst handing out the Crunch-n-Munch? Might explain the rude comments.
