Prospects pre-Poll poll
I'm assuming Mr. Wheeler is the presumptive favorite for the title "best pitcher in the organization." And I'm also guessing that in marcello's Community Prospects voting we'll have a lot of position players chosen after Wheeler at #2. So, here's the question: Who's the second best pitching prospect in the organization? I imagine there are numerous opinions, and I'm sure that cumulatively those opinions will be expressed as we move along in the CP voting. But, just out of curiousity, and to stir up some conversation, here's a poll. I tried to pick the 10 guys that I thought might be the most-voted-for, but if I've left out your favorite, please post and tell us why your guy should have been on here.
Let the prospectin' commence:

Bucardo
Surkamp is very talented, but I like Bucardo better. His stuff isn’t as dominating in a strikeout sense, but it’s just as suited for success, and he’s still growing into it.

Bucardo. The relative lack of success in A+ is only slightly worrying. He should do fine there, and as Roger said, AA sometime next year could happen.
Surkamp would be next.
Kickham is interesting, but is probably a long term project of sorts. I’m fairly intrigued by Rosin too; should Tidrow and staff help him develop some off speed pitches, he could be very good.
Kickham when he's down?
I voted Kickham, but only because he’s a lefty. I have him and Rosin (can’t believe Rosin’s currently got fewer votes than Surkamp and the 3 relievers – LOL) at basically the same grade, with Bucardo just a tick below those 2. You guys do know that Rosin throws mid-90s, has a nice curveball, and never walks anybody?

I see that I’m going to have to move up my planned posting of an in-depth looks at Rosin and Kickham.

I actually voted for Rosin.

Me too. It was like picking names out of a hat, I barely know anything about any of them. But I feel like I’ve heard of Rosin, and I know that some of the other guys project as relievers and not starters, which makes them less valuable. I kind of looked at this like a question on the SAT or GRE. Except there are no right answers.
Yeah, I have Bucardo just over Surkamp

I picked Austin Fleet
But not as a pitcher, as our Rick Ankiel memorial future centerfielder. Because his name’s Austin Fleet. Names matter.

I just like what I’ve seen better than the others listed.
That I’ve actually seen.
Just cuz.
