That’s awesome, I think a read a quote from Buster Olney saying the mystery team didn’t even exist and that it was just a ploy from one of the agents. I voted that yes, the mystery was real. I didn’t think the mystery team was automatically the favorite to win the World Series next year. Sonofabitch.
Where the hell did they come from?

Oh I get it
They want to put all of the pitchers that we completely dominate on the same team. Any space for Lowe?

That would be a good signing… so we could LHOHL at them.

I really don't get it
They have Halladay, Oswalt, and Hamels, and they choose to invest over $100 mil in a pitcher? I like Lee, and we just saw that a dominant rotation can lead to a championship, but if you had that kind of money, why not commit it to getting a bat? If I were a Phils fan, I’d be wishing we’d spent this money on Crawford or Beltre. It just seems like with the money they’ll be on the hook for to both Lee and Halladay, that’s too much for a non-Yankees franchise to invest in two starting pitchers.
Yankees reportedly offered 6 years, 138 million. ESPN is reporting Cliff took 5 years, 100 million from the Phils. That’s a nice discount, but still, you’ve got two $100 million pitchers on your roster. Better hope one of them doesn’t get hurt.

Didn't we beat all four of those guys
in the playoffs this year?
What’s the big effing deal? Howard and Ibanez are still swinging at strike 3.
