Scroll down to the bottom of the page for the Cody Ross link. You can download an mp3 as well. Interesting stuff, especially about the conditions under which he left Florida.

Uggla stuff is interesting too

C’mon, Giants Brass. Let’s bring the BFFs together.

I wonder if Florida would still be cool with a Uggla for Adrianza deal

If they would still do that (and gave us a 24-48 HR window to negotiate an extension with Uggla) I’d be happy

If we traded for him

We’d have a year window to negotiate.

Someone ask Freddy if he can handle SS

Torres CF
Sanchez SS
Huff 1B
Posey C
Uggla 2B
Burrell LF
Sandoval 3B
Ross RF

Or move Freddy in a separate deal

He said he wants to play 2B

He really doesn’t want to move to LF/3B

I still think Sanchez gets moved if we get Uggla

GIANTS BRASS!!

j/k, I’d love to see Uggla on the team, but it seems like the Marlins are probably going to sign him.

They came closer

but their still far apart. They started at very different points (Marlins wanted 3/30M, Uggla wanted 5/60M)

Great interview. Cody seems like a really smart and awesomely nice guy.

My favorite part: when he says that everyone in baseball is a streaky hitter. A sabernerd dream.

"What’s that, Buster? You asked for a bicycle? Well, sorry. Santa brought butt floss instead."

Thanks for posting this.

My favorite part: Cody hearing his name chanted in a bar without patrons knowing he was outside walking by to home from the ballpark.

The San Francisco Giants won the World Series.

why didn't the Marlins at least try to get a mediocre prospect from us?

Proud adopted parent of the ball dudes, who have grounded into 109 fewer double plays than the Giants.
