A Modest Proposal
Grant's surprises post really got me thinking about moments in the season, and how I would love to be able to relive them. But a DVD of the season or its greatest moments wouldn't be the best way to do that. Not when we have the genius of the McCoven within reach.
Natto, TheLetter: would you be at all interested in doing a manga of the season? I would happily prepay for it via paypal, as would plenty of other McCoven, I'm sure. I'd pony up $50. Maybe 100 others would too (???). Is this even remotely conceivable?
We could have inserts at chapter breaks or something, where we have the voted-on favorite McCoven images.
I dunno. Maybe it's crazy, but I had to post it.

What could possibly be more satisfying to digest
Than this manga I propose?
""I’d like to be a crossword clue one day. I want to be in The New York Times’s Sunday edition. Right now, the clue ‘Giants great’ is always Mel Ott. I want my clue to be down, not across. The down ones are usually harder. And when I’m the clue, I’ll fill it in — just that one — and frame it. " - Brian Wilson.

Non-tender...
…doesn’t necessarily mean not tender.

Maybe?
I don’t know about a whole saga, but perhaps a series of short stories could work. Perhaps something like what Afternoon Baseball does where random highlights of the season are featured. I’d be down for drawing something (within reason) but don’t expect a Charles-Schulz frequency of output.
Expectations? Nah.
Hopes and dreams, Natto. Hopes and dreams.
(and yeah, i for one would be happy with anything)

I'm not sure about $50, but I'd pay something.
I wore my Natto “Aces” T-shirt at Giants wins in SF, Arizona and Atlanta this year, so I’m a fan.
