I always viewed myself a cursed fan. I have always watched championships. Super Bowls, Stanley Cups, NBA Finals and World Series'. At the end of those championships, I always saw the Sports Illustrated commercial to order and get the champs gifts. Following the Browns (grandpa grew up in Cleveland), Warriors, Sharks and Giants, I never ever thought I would be the one that got to do the ordering. Today, I finally was able to get my subscription. I feel like a kid again waiting for Christmas. I want those to show up on my doorstep just so I KNOW it is real. In 20 years, my hardcover book will still be there, but worn as I will have undoubtedly thumbed through it thousands of times. My World Series Blu-Ray will be worn out and obsolete, but I won't care, it'll still be there. The baseball will stay pristine in it's case, and I will be able to tell my kids about the 30 years of torture that was ended on November 1st 2010, sit them down and thumb through the book and watch the games again. I love this team, and I love the fans. This feeling will NEVER go away!
