2. I still remember freaking out when Bud started to announce the pick. I thought he said “Geraldine” instead of “Gerald D.” and my first instinct was “Holy crap, we’re going off the board to select a prospect with a girl’s name!” then he finished announcing the pick and all was right with the world.

I still remember shouting out “Who the fuck?”, as soon as Lizard Lips Selig started pronouncing the name of our draft pick with a “soft G or J” sound instead of a “hard B” sound.
