I think we all pretty much thought as much since it was clearly an oblique strain, but yeah, he's done. Too bad, but good for the Giants.

Who will the Rangers replace him with?

You have to figure Cliff Lee is going 6 or 7 innings tonight come hell or high water. Their bullpen pitched quite a bit last night and Ogando was far and away their best middle innings guy.

Article says Nippert is most likely. He’s OK, but a big step down from Ogando; I would guess he won’t play unless the Rangers are way ahead.

Have we seen Lowe yet ? The Rangers have stated they are adding a pitcher, but have not yet named who it be. Lowe was put on the roster to replace Clay Rapada (LHP). I think it’s likely that will add a righty, but I don’t know enough about their system to guess who it might be.
