OK, maybe it also has something to do with that popular pagan holiday - but mere coincidence? I thinks not!

I pedaled my bicycle to the Polo Grounds today. Well, what remnants are left of the Polo Grounds. A shuttered staircase with an engraved dedication from the New York Giants, and a plaque honoring the Giants on the side of one of the public housing buildings now occupying the site of the old ball yard. No other Giants fans in sight on this sunny, cool day.

Maybe a merry band of drunken New York/SF Giants fans will find their way there one night in the next few days.
