How To Sync Radio and TV
My page describing how to synchronize radio play-by-play when it runs ahead of the TV image. It requires installing a couple of Windows utilities and configuring a bunch of settings. But once you do it you should be good to go for the playoffs. Jon Miller will be calling the games on the radio no matter what, so this is a Good Thing.

Damnit
A little too far to get KNBR and didn’t buy MLB radio.
XM works everywhere
If I needed a physical radio to get the games I could plug in my XM satelitte radio. Of course, that runs you about a cool $200 per year. XM plays the home, away, and ESPN national feed during the playoffs and WS. The MLB Gameday Audio for $20 per season is pretty damned reasonable to me, and I’m a big cheapskate. I even forked over the $30 for that Virtual Audio Cable utility. I use it in many ways because I do a bunch of audio work here.
XM also has a 24/7 baseball talk channel, if you can stand the likes of Jim Bowden, Kevin Kennedy, and Rob Dibble for your “color”.
The Strasburg railroad is in the backshop for repairs to the engineer's driver rod. E.T.R. late 2011 or so.
