If we lose and the Braves lose, we play the Phillies.

If the Braves win and we lose, we could end up playing the Reds after the one game series.

This the outcome I would love. GO PHILLIES
Outcome No.2: Giants win, Braves lose.

The Giants are 92-70 and win the NL West. The Braves and Padres are 90-72 and would have a one-game playoff for the wild card Monday at Atlanta. (If the Braves prevail, the Giants get them in the NLDS. If the Padres are the wild card, the Giants would match up against the Cincinnati Reds. In either event, the Giants would have home-field advantage for the NLDS.

Outcome No.3: Giants lose, Braves lose

The Braves are 90-72 and are eliminated. The Giants and Padres tie atop the NL West at 91-71, and both clinch postseason berths on the same field (!!!). The Padres are awarded the NL West title without a tiebreaker because they captured the season series against the Giants. Thus, the Giants enter as the wild card. (The Giants would begin an NLDS Wednesday against the Phillies while the Padres would get the Reds.)

Wow. A 59-0 win and a drop in the rankings. That's gotta be a first.
No. 4 Boise State spent the entire first month of the season ranked third, but the Broncos couldn’t hold off the Ducks this week.

Oregon fell behind 21-3 in the first quarter against Stanford on Saturday night at home, but Darron Thomas and LaMichael James brought the Ducks zooming back for a 52-31 victory.

The Ducks lead the nation in scoring (56 points per game) and total offense (569 yards).

Stanford came into the game ranked No. 9, but fell seven spots this week.

Boise State remained unbeaten with a 59-0 victory against winless league rival New Mexico State, but it appears the lack of respect for the Western Athletic Conference is already hurting the Broncos.

I’m not saying I disagree, but, still. Wow.

I know we have been over the Guillen thing, but I'm still confused.

Guillen vs. Latos 0-1 with a K.

Ross vs. Latos 3-5 with 2 BB’s, 2 doubles, and 3 RBI.

Does Bochey not look at these things at all?

So, superior defender, great numbers vs. Latos, Guillen = load of shit and Ross isn’t starting? is he hurt and I missed it?

Just can’t figure this one from any angle.

Bochy loves the game so much he’s excited about the possibility of playing 163 or 164 games this season.

Either he hasn’t thought that far ahead, or he’ll trot out a real lineup in 164 to get us to the postseason.

I was watching him run wondering why he wasn’t protecting the ball… dumbass.
