Where to watch?
I am thinking about making a road trip to SF to enjoy the games. I realize the chance of getting tickets are low unless I am willing to sell my first child (should I consider offers?). I'm curious if I could get some recommendations on the best places to watch the game and enjoy the atmosphere. I'm hopeful that either the Giants or the City will create a public area that will show the game, similar to what I saw other countries do for World Cup games.
I'd be interested in hearing the native San Franciscans thoughts, plans and ideas. Go Giants.

Pedro’s Cantina has a nice atmosphere but you’ll be standing the entire time and probably won’t be able to move your arms. It’s always packed.

Sensing the flood of energy, city officials were working Monday on setting up a large public viewing area for the games between the Giants and the Texas Rangers, similar to the screen erected in Civic Center Plaza during the World Cup soccer tournament.
What did they do, if anything in ’02?
