Since Grant's falling down on the job and there's nothing new up today, I thought I'd put something up for those who want to discuss last night's game, today's game and don't want to wade through 1000+ comments to do it, especially 1000+ comments that were posted by slightly inebriated, joyful revelers last night.
So tonight is Lincecum vs. Halladay, with Halladay being the greatest pitcher since Cy Young or Christy Mathewson depending on who you talk to, and with his back to the wall the Giants only hope is to pick up a run or two in the 10th to win it.....blah, blah, blah blah. Roy Halladay is in fact human, and is just three years removed from posting a 3.71 ERA and 3.96 xFIP, good numbers to be sure, but not other-worldly. Meanwhile, the Giants continue to get "lucky', but will this rag-tag, dirty dozen be able to clinch tonight? What does it mean if they don't?
Also, in case you were unaware:
Cody Ross wanted to a be a rodeo clown growing up.
The Philadelphia Eagles won on Sunday.
Aubrey Huff is sporting a red thong.
Cody Ross wanted to be a rodeo clown growing up.
Andres Torres is with his 6th organization.
Pat Burrell was released by Tampa Bay
Cody Ross is only there because the Giants were blocking the Padres on a waiver claim.
And oh yeah, Cody Ross wanted to be a rodeo clown growing up.
Talk amongst yourselves.
