Giants need to sign Barry Bonds outta retirement.
Meh
He needs to be in the AL from all accounts, so sell him to the Jays.
Not sure what to do about my screen name at this point...

Look
It’s too late. You already ate the shrooms. So, you can freak out, or you can just embrace the ride.
Juan Carlos Perez, please start hitting.
I was kidding, actually. Being blocked by Huff is a bad reason to be okay with this move. But in reality, this move doesn’t bother me. I’d rather DFA Guzman than Lewis, and even though losing Guzman doesn’t seem necessary, it still doesn’t feel like much of a loss.
I don't know about that, to the groin.

Well we’re at #31 on the community poll and he’s never even been in the running yet, so it’s fair to say the McCoven doesn’t think that highly of him. Which shouldn’t stop a full on freak out, of course.
My Bucardo is better than yours.
A hot August weekday, before a small crowd, when the only thing at stake is the tissue-thin difference between a thing done well and a thing done ill. Insofar as the clutch hitter is not a sportswriter's myth, it is a vulgarity, like a writer who writes only for money.
OT: Jesus is hitting cleanup for Caracas tonight against the Magellans
LOL Jose Castillo is batting 3rd
Tommy Joseph is the Dingerzball Wizard
My fondest memory of Guzman was when we heard so much about how good his bat was and how bad his glove was…
And then he promptly botched a double play in one of his first fielding attempts
YOU EAT YOUR DAMN EGGROLL
I was at that game in San Diego. I gave myself a concussion-like facepalm in the upper deck..

Meh
He was never going to get a significant amount of PAs on this team.
Frandsen: “WTF do I have to do to get off this team?”

Juan Carlos Perez, please start hitting.
LOL
But seriously Robby Thompson would be ahead of Frandsen

Hoping for BowkerMania to hit AT&T Park in 2010
Officially disinterested in any high school outfielders from the state of Mississippi.
Proud adoptive parent of Sergio Romo. Looking forward to adopting Justin Smoak.
From everything I’ve heard, it really does sound like he only belongs in the AL. Sucks to lose talent, but I guess he doesn’t have a place on teams that require you to field to hit.
no epic breakdown like the Denker DFA?
Felicitations, malefactors! I am endeavoring to misappropriate the formulary for the preparation of affordable comestibles. Who will join me!?
This could have been worse
And there was no need to DFA Denker, which led to part of that meltdown.
Juan Carlos Perez, please start hitting.
They already have Ishikawa and Pill on the 40 man, and with the signing of Huff, there really wasn’t any need for another first baseman on the roster, especially one who is so defensively challenged. So this was not a surprise, and was who I figured would be gone next.

The Giants have now dumped two right handed hitting first basemen this off season. When Huff and Ishi are struggling against lefties and the Giants are looking for a right handed hitting 1B at the deadline, remember this day
No Edgar, it's not your fault, it's the fault of the idiot that plays you

I’m really surprised it wasn’t Frandsen…unless they think they can get something for Sweet Jesus
"We're in this thing!" My adopted Giant: "Raptor Jesus" Guzman, "Sweet Jesus" Guzman and Jesus H. Guzman.
my reaction on seeing this:
I’m blaming all of you for not even putting my son in the top 30 of the prospect list. Efff you all!
Sabean must hate my guts, even though I defend him here. First I he takes Bocock away…that was hard enough. Now he’s taking away Jesus, my only son.
Crap.
Just crap!

I feel good about not voting for Guzman.
I know you nerds know NOTHING about the real game of baseball, or any other athletic endeavor requiring teamwork under physical stress.

So I guess this means I have to adopt Molina since he took Guzman’s place?

jesus, jose, Y. sabean
This kid could hit, but I guess his prospective role is as a DH, being that he cannot field a lick, kinda like Aubrey freakin Huff. Watch his lead hands go klunk, klang, klunk.
