DENVER — Colorado Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki left Monday’s game after an RBI single in the seventh inning against Cincinnati because of a strained lower back.

After Tulowitzki singled with two outs to tie it at 3, he pulled up just before reaching first base, holding his lower back. Manager Jim Tracy and trainer Keith Dugger came out to check on him.

Tulowitzki lightly jogged down the first-base line, before being replaced by Omar Quintanilla.

Pretty much, although I definitely knew about Lincecum as of the draft in which it was OMG we got him at 10?

I definitely didn’t know a thing about anyone in the minors until I started reading MCC. Well, OK, BBTF, but it’s pretty dry over there.

-Q: Any idea when Posey might get at least an at-bat?

-BOCHY: No, I don’t. Wish I could tell you when. But I’d like for us to score a lot of runs, I could put some guys out tehre and give them a few at-bats. But the way these games are going, they’re not, where it’s just give a guy an at-bat.

We’re trying to win these games. The situation will dictate that. There’s a few other guys, really, I’d like to give not just one at-bat but a couple at-bats, so they can get their timing.

-Q: So is Posey starting a game just not going to happen?

-BOCHY: Naw. No. It’ll be Bengie or Whiteside right now, the way we’re set up. But you never know, towards the end, hopefully, we’ll have a chance to give him a start.

Why do we need to keep Hinshaw fresh? If we’re down to Hinshaw in a game we’re in trouble. Or if you do that. Let him start the inning

Like I already said, Hinshaw won’t be used in a close game. But, if you’re dead set on having him pitch, why doesn’t he start the inning? Why even let Waldis go out there for one batter?

Considering how many extra inning games this lame ass offense puts the Giants I have to agree as well.

The San Francisco Giants must win at least one World Series before I die.
