That’s not really what I meant… I meant that not all hitters’ xBABIP is .300 (if you use the xBABIP calculator from THT, Travis’s expected BABIP is right about where he is.)

OF FUCKING COURSE I think a guy with a .220 BABIP should be expected to regress to something more like his career average (which, for Garko, is like .299 or something.)

Yeah and he hit nearly 60 jacks and 150 RBIs. Not that those are really great measures, but I’m sure arbitrators consider that kind of stuff.
