Could be a hoax but...
Winn in the #2 spot makes the lineup plausibly Bochian.

Reason why Winn is in the lineup (a) bork (b) 6 for 11 career vs. Zambrano (although Rents is 12 for 31).

I love how Posey in the lineup means we’ve conceded, but then we have Winn in there to stall evaluating players who could impact next season.
You want to see a walk? Then go watch the mailman.

Balancing out the savvy deficiency
Velez, Sandoval, Bowker, Ishikawa, and Posey all in the same lineup? Rowand can’t provide all the veteran savvy by himself, you know.

it's a common way to take the pressure off.
Of course, Bochy has done nothing but raise expectations and increase the pressure on Posey by the way he’s mishandled him and tried to explain away his mishandling.
even earlier this season, Panda wasn’t batting 3rd or 4th, but 5th. Obviously, there wasn’t much competition for “best hitter on the Giants” so he moved up to 3rd eventually.

F#*K YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!
Also, I think this is the best line-up I’ve seen all year except for Winn. I honestly feel if these players were in the line-up down the stretch, we’d be either tied or less than 2 games back.
by AngelWillSaveUs on Sep 25, 2009 4:28 PM PDT reply actions 0 recs
BTW
If he goes 0 for 4, Molina is getting a 3 year contract extension after the game.

Cubs win , 3 - 0. Posey goes 0 for 3 with two Ks.
Bengie , leaving the clubhouse , smiles secretly.
Ya know...ignorance really IS bliss.
Well - I do , anyway.

So, if Lewis were starting instead of Winn, could we agree that this would be the dream line-up of the McCoven?

UPDATE: Manager Bruce Bochy suggested Posey will start behind the plate for most of the remaining games.
If Posey tears it up in the last week and a half, Bochy will look like a bigger dunderhead than he is already.

WOO! I’ve got tickets for the game tonight too! Posey’s first start! And he catches Lincecum!
