I’m going to a concert \m/

First US tour since, like, the early 1990s!

I thought they disbanded and scatterred. Good for you!
That’s it! Katie bar the door for this 79 win team is star crossed! And I am loving it.
Nah, Richey disappeared in like 1995 but the other three are still going strong. The album they released this year is really good.
Matt Cain: He'll save children, but not the Dodger children.
"AT LAST I AM A PARENTS." - Buster
I thought about going to that!
But I went to three shows in the Bay Area over a span of like six or seven days: Arctic Monkeys, Happy Mondays/Psychedelic Furs, and the Pet Shop Boys.
"El once, chico. Eleven."
Have fun at the concert.
But there will be a mod here tonight, right?

So, all of a sudden, now that the ERA isn’t as shiny, Penny’s overall stat-line is kind of gross.

Bip just said that the Cubs having strikeouts is horrible, but then said that the Giants strikeout pitchers are great. I’m skipping the pre-game show.

Keith Law actually sorta made the same argument today. Says a hitter who strikes out a lot at least has some level of control of the ball’s future when he puts it in play. Yet supposedly a pitcher has no control over what happens to it once it’s put into play. I guess pitching to location with movement has nothing to do with controlling where a ball goes, in Law’s eyes.

Too bad Bochy isn’t playing all the kids, as the Braves have a higher chance (because of their easy schedule) to make the playoffs than the Giants. If they were smart, they’d play all the kids and tank, get a good draft pick, and be better than ever next season.

I love to hear Bay Area people bitch about transit. Move to Sacramento…then you can bitch. Most service stops after 6pm, runs only every 30 minutes during the day, and every 60 minutes on nights and weekends – for those routes that even operate. Last time I took the bus I think it was $2 for a one way trip, and extra if you want a transfer.
The Giants should try and score some runs.
