Can Timmy beat the heat?
It has become apparent that Timmy is brought down to earth when the temperature rises. This is a great weakness on his part and I am sure he is aware of it. Like with any weakness, he is likely to focus on it in order to overcome it. What does he need to do to negate this problem?

I actually read somewhere (a long, long time ago) that putting a leaf of lettuce under your ballcap would help keep you cool. I was 11 or so at the time, and thus way too cool to attempt such a thing in public.

I’m still waiting for someone to break down all of Timmy’s career starts by game-time temperature and determine whether there’s any correlation between high temps and performance. Yesterday could just as easily be explained by a) the Dodgers have a lineup full of good, patient hitters (hi, Shawon!); b) it’s the end of the season and Timmy’s fatigued; c) there’s still some residual effect from the back spasms; d) even Cy Young Award-winning pitchers have bad starts now and then and my favorite, e) some or all of the above.

negated by human industrial activity.
Before the Industrial Revolution climate change was primarily effected by vulcanism. Globally, there are 2 basic types of volcanoes perenially active: the shields and the domes. Shield eruptions release greenhouse gases within the atmosphere, increasing global temperature. Dome eruptions eject particulate matter into the stratosphere, deflecting some solar radiation and thus decreasing global temperature. However, human industirial activity over the past 300 years mimics the characteristics of the shield volcano’s release of greenhouse gases while the natural shield volcanoes belch away unobstructed. The level of dome activity was quite high in the late 20th Century and (following pre-Industrial models) global temperature should have entered a prolonged cooling period. Yet, the opposite occurred. The scientific investigation into this non-cooling led to the recognition of the misnomered Global Warming Crisis.

however...
Meltwater Theory supposes that dense polar meltwater entering the Gulf Stream will slow the current down while cooling it. This may lead to a period of TEMPORARY global cooling. The cooling would be temporary because the lowering of overall global temperature would be insufficient to reverse polar de-glaciation, meaning that once the poles are de-iced there will no longer be a source of cold water to enter the Gulf Stream and ocean temperature will rise unabated forevermore in a world without snowy winters.

This "struggles in warm weather because he grew up in Seattle" thing is crap.
I agree with Kitspool— let’s see some actual critical thinking and some data before we embrace something that on its face is silly. People from the Seattle area have gone on to succeed in the heat, such as Quincy Jones (yay!) and Kenny G (meh!). Native Floridians can’t succeed in the cold weather cities in April and September/October? Nonsense.
