Well Lewis is an ideal pinch hitter for a good team. Bad defense, high OBP. Whereas Posey isn’t a pinch hitter.

If Bochy doesn’t go, do we pretty much have to get rid of Lansford? I know he’s being somewhat usurped by Dunston, but the guys on the team have to know that their plate approach absolutely sucks. Sometimes firing a fall guy sends a message to get it straight, or you’re gonna be gone. They have to do something to get this lineup to hit. Guys like Sanchez, Garko, Panda, Nate, and some of the young kids in the minors can still be saved.
