Posey would have let the ball rebound to the outfield hence letting Furcal score from first.

by DJ Tofu on Sep 11, 2009 9:00 PM PDT reply actions   0 recs

Seriously

If Bochy doesn’t go, do we pretty much have to get rid of Lansford? I know he’s being somewhat usurped by Dunston, but the guys on the team have to know that their plate approach absolutely sucks. Sometimes firing a fall guy sends a message to get it straight, or you’re gonna be gone. They have to do something to get this lineup to hit. Guys like Sanchez, Garko, Panda, Nate, and some of the young kids in the minors can still be saved.

There is no possible way for the Giants to win anymore. Honestly, its hard enough for them to score 6 runs period, but 6 runs in three innings? Yeah, right.

Check that. 8 runs.

This game has everything

Line drives hit directly at defenders for a BAbip of .100, genius managing by the macrocephalic village idiot, reconfirmation that Vegas gamblers bought the umpires’ entire season, vintage Merkinity, and the unmistakable stench of irrelevance. I long for 1985.
