Pablo team lead in BB still fewer than the lowliest Dodger
This was a bit depressing. Who knew it would be Pablo with the most walks. And although it's not unexpected that most other players would have more, it's sad that every single regular player on the Dodgers have more BBs than our lead walking guy.
And I'm just going to ignore the bit comparing the Rockies' and Giants' records since the sweep. It makes me cry.

That really says it all right there.

I just can’t believe that a guy who swings at more pitches than anyone else in the league (except Molina) is our team leader in walks.

Luckily, in Pablo’s case you can’t spell “astounding” without “outstanding.”
In everybody else on the teams case, you can’t spell “astounding” without “out standing.”
Note: the second T in “astounding” is silent and, thus, invisible.
Context, people. More context is good. Less context is bad. If you're willing to be reductive, then you're willing to be wrong.

This worked a lot better before I realized that I apparently can’t spell.

there is also this
the Dodgers team OBP of .346 (this is including bench players, pitchers, etc.) would rank 2nd on the Giants among players with at least 300 ABs.

Pablo should have 80 walks this year.
I think the words of the scouting report on every Giants hitter are “Don’t ever throw him a strike”.

Maybe for a couple.
I think for most of them it’s “Throw it down the middle, they can’t do anything with it anyway.”

To be fair, I’ve seen Nate strike out on at least one ball that hit him in the thigh.
Utter frustration and futility.
