You can DO that??

Lineup shuffling

Bochy has shuffled around the lineup with the Giants' latest acquisitions, hitting Sanchez second in the order and batting Garko in both the fourth and fifth spot. While the new order isn't set in stone, Bochy said it gives off a different vibe, one he hopes will lead them to the playoffs.

If this new rule about doubling up players in the batting order is true, then what the hell is Bochy's problem!? The clear choice is Sandoval!

Other peoples typos are fun.

It’s not really a typo so much as it is just a moment of mixed clarity. The sentence can be read two ways.

My Dave Righetti is better than your Dave Righetti.

The sentence can be read two ways.

If you are really digging for something to poke fun at.

If you didn't choose to read it the other way

you probably like having Molina in the 4th spot.

I wasn’t digging, it was absolutely a case of poor word choice (both/and instead of either/or). It jumped out at me the moment I read it.

Anyway, the point wasn’t to make fun of the writer (or Bochy). I was just having some fun with the moment. If it is at anyone’s expense, it is at our own, with the way that fans jump on managerial decisions—however rational or irrational our arguments may be.

The more I watch Sandoval play, the more I start to think that it is time he takes his place as the Giants clean-up hitter. Sanchez be fine at 3, and you could keep Winn at 2 instead of dropping all the way to 8th (should be Reterias spot).

I’m actually more of a fan of having your best hitter in the 3 hole, rather than the 4. The last couple of days (it seems to me) that Pablo will get a two out double, then somehow score. I just like having him hit int he 1st.

The only question is what to do with Molina…
