Rockies pissed off the umps on Monday
Looks like the Rockies aren't gaining any friends behind the plate. I hope this somehow comes back to bite them in the ass.

Several Rockies alleged after Monday’s dramatic, 14th-inning 6-4 victory that second-base umpire Bill Miller called catcher Yorvit Torrealba a derogatory name while the catcher was a baserunner late in the game. That only heightened tempers on a night when both teams complained about the ball-and-strike calls of home-plate umpire Angel Campos.

I’m sure there are large numbers of players with douchey tendencies. Nonetheless, umpires absolutely cannot instigate or aggravate these kinds of situations. They have the power to throw guys out of games, which they use liberally. Further discipline is to be handed out by MLB. Aside from that, they should turn the other cheek, which is part of their job.
MLB needs to get a handle on their umps, starting with Hohn.
