It would be easier now for the Giants to hope that the Rockies pass the Dodgers and that they’d then pass the Dodgers for the wildcard. The Giants have six more games with the Dodgers, but only three with the Rockies. If the Rockies beat the Dodgers the next two games, they’d be tied.
