Kent wants to be enshrined as a Giant
There's probably a pun in that title, but whatever.

Thats good, I like Kent again
He also said the true story hasn’t been told about his broken wrist in spring training of 2002, and "it’ll always stay a secret."

He was undercover for the CIA hunting Bin Laden
Their team almost took him out; Agent Benitez had him in his sights, but he balked.

Freak fisting accident.
Context, people. More context is good. Less context is bad. If you're willing to be reductive, then you're willing to be wrong.

The true story is he was doing donuts, not wheelies. Shhh.

He left because Dusty Baker left? That kind of makes sense……

Say what you want about Dusty, but players love the dude.
Bruce Bochy would like you to look at the career numbers and stop complaining.

No kidding
Dusty is a horrible baseball manager, but a fantastic manager of people. I always hoped that, come the playoffs, Sabean would kidnap Dusty and tearfully replace him with Davey Johnson.

Godawful? Atrocious? Pathetic? Pedestrian?
I like “appalling” myself.

I would have just been fine if the pitching coach made all the pitching decisions.

Well that’s pretty darn hard to hate. It’s kind of like he’s saying “Suck it, Dodgers.”

I’d welcome him with open arms. He was a major reason for winning the pennant and gave us a number of good years.

I agree
I never jumped on the “Hate Kent” bandwagon. It is hard for me to hate anyone who has been a Giant, especially if they have contributed to our past successes…

I only hated Kent while he was wearing a Dodger uniform.

Good on ya, Kent.
Brian Sabean strongly encourages you to disregard the drudgery of your employment responsibilities and join him in the consumption of spirituous libations.

I like Jeff Kent and always have. He was an awesome Giant. Too bad about those years in the land of evil, though.
Waiting for Giants and Niners to contend once more.

I never hated him, even after he made all the comments. The 2002 team is one of my greatest memories, and he was a huge part of that

Never made it in my doghouse
He’ll always be one of my favorites.
Hell, I think he could still help this current team to be honest

Enshrined?
I’m all for that. Also, is he in shape? We could use him right now…sign him!
No, really, I have updated my blog this year: http://skaldheim.livejournal.com/tag/baseball
