No Nate or TI again today?
Against a right hander? WTF is wrong with Bochy?
Winn and Garko are both 1/5 career versus Homer Bailey. Nate is 1/2

sorry Boch, no time for hurt feelings
only reason not to play Nate everyday is if he’s not 100% healthy

Track Record
/obligatory “track record” quote from Bochy or Sabean

Bochy must be trying to see how horrible a line-up he can put out behind Tim and still win. Only thing that explains Edgar batting 2nd and Winn 5th.

NO Nate/TI
Why don’t you stop bitching and let Bochy do what he was hired to do? Damn people, the team is competing for a play off spot. Lighten up.

And the offense is historically bad
Maybe some of that is Bochy’s fault, maybe it isn’t. But it’s a fair topic.

Context, people. More context is good. Less context is bad. If you're willing to be reductive, then you're willing to be wrong.

oh wow, can’t deny these stats.
Garko should still play, though Nate should be in over Winn
Can you deny that Garko is hitting below the Mendoza line against RHs since he got here? I’m not sure his OBP is even .200 against them
I can deny that such a sample size means anything and that he hasn’t been very unlucky in terms of how often he’s hit the ball right at defenders since coming over.

Well that worked out.

Its going to take Garko some time to get acclimated to the NL. He’s been in the AL his whole career. He’s not only on a new team but he is also facing NL pitching; most of whom he has never faced and many of which are better than AL pitchers.
I think once he settles in we will see more performances like the one we saw today. He’s been hitting the ball hard, he just hasn’t been hitting the holes. He really stepped it up for Cleveland when Hafner and VMart went down. I think he can do the same for the Giants. Look for him to turn it in on September.
