Wow, this is getting really hard to believe. I guess when you're paying Rowand 12 million a year you've got to play him.

What I don’t understand is that Bochy was quoted as saying that Nate will be playing everyday against both righty and lefty pitching, and he hasn’t started since. Is Bochy a liar or does he suffer from short term memory loss? He’ll probably say he started the veterans because Livan is a trickster, but it doesn’t wash. Aaron Rowand is as stupid a hitter as they have on the team.

he doesn't suffer from memory loss...

it’s just that his head is so big that it takes thoughts longer to develop into words and phrases. his quote about nate starting everyday was actually from before nate’s trip to the DL. it just didn’t make it out until this weekend.

Unless Winn or Rowand have great career numbers against Livan, I’m really at a loss. Baggarly is too. His lineup today was sponsored by the Nate Schierholtz Center for Missing Persons.

Rowand has owned Livan over their careers. Winn…not so much

Well, that worked out well.

Context, people. More context is good. Less context is bad. If you're willing to be reductive, then you're willing to be wrong.
