I just noticed in Gameday that you have an option to show the location of outs in the field (I don’t know how I’ve missed this), so I checked the box to show Giants outs. There’s a cluster of red dots in the infield, with only 3 in the outfield.

That’s pretty damn pathetic.

I know it is popular and everyone wants to see their players going all-out on every play, but I’d rather my best player, play with a little caution. If you want an example of why, just look at the careers of one Barry Lamar Bonds and George Kenneth Griffey Jr. Bonds caught a lot of grief for not giving everything on every play, but in my mind, he was smart enough to save the situations he did risk injury on, to when the game was on the line.

Bochy is an epic moron

Why do you not walk Murphy and set up a double play? I mean, it’s not like JA gets ground balls or anything (when he’s not walking people).

I had to watch this turdburgler for years in San Diego and it’s like a repeat of a bad dream now.
