considering Bochy benches any semblence of power, refuses to change the lineup to light a fire, does nothing, and we continue to score 1 or 2 a nite…..

I guess that’s why rookie pitchers shouldn’t be put in the middle of playoff chases. Mistakes happen, and Martinez got too rattled by it.
Bruce Bochy would like you to look at the career numbers and stop complaining.

A few points:
1) It’s mid-August. Lots of ball to be played, and Nate’s up later this week. We’re still in the WC race
2) This game is also not over yet
3) This was never going to be The Year anyway. Posey’s up next year, no more Molina. No more Winn: Nate’s our RF. This year was about progress. Next year, contention.
4) Madbum. Crawford. Neal. Angel. Wheeler.

DFA Aurilia, Valdez, Renteria, and Molina. Let Winn be a bench player.
And then, call up some kids. We didn’t want to play a Win Now card at the trade deadline because we wanted to keep these prospects, right? And they’re doing well, right? Fuck it. This season will depress the crap out of the Giants community in the Bay Area so badly without it.
The Giants need to do something major in order to stay in contention for a playoff spot. We should make the necessary changes to give ourselves the best possible opportunity to get into postseason play.

from the Wiki: Springfield is playing Shelbyville in the championship, and is leading 5-2 in the bottom of the ninth with two outs, but Shelbyville has the bases loaded. When their batter hits the ball that could decide the game, it heads towards Bart. He drops a pop up and repeatedly fails to pick it up, allowing all four runners to walk the bases and score, giving Shelbyville the 6-5 victory.

I love how Dodgers fans have to come here
because all of the Dodgers blogs are terrible and nobody ever comments on anything.
Because L.A. is a city of fairweather fans who come in the 3rd and leave in the 7th even in Giants games, and they cheer a cheater who was caught after screaming “steroids” at Bonds. (funniest part — he never tested positive for anything Hank Aaron didn’t take, and the alleged “steroids” he took were not classified as such by the FDA at the time he took them, according to Yahoo Sports.)
Most Dodgers “fans” are hypocrites or bandwagon flakes. Only a few exceptions exist, and the world feels sorry for their horribly misguided and consequently pitiful lives.

Weaver has a career 5.00 ERA vs. Giants
Dodger fans arent gonna be too greedy, you guys can take the game tomorrow. We will feast on some of AZ in a couple days.

lets give ’em a round of applause for not getting lost along the way.

I apologize for my remarks
I really do. I let my anger get the best of me. But I don’t like it when someone questions my support. I would never make the same comment.

Sorry, I didn't mean to get so personal
I just really hate trolls.
Honestly, I don’t think very many people here would be going to True Blue L.A. to taunt you guys unless we met in the playoffs.

Billy Ripken is still a douche bag.
So, not only do the Giants lose 9-1, but Velez’s hit streak is stopped due to a HBP. Every part of this game sucks.

I don't think anyone cares about Velez's hit streak but you and him at this point.

No offense or anything...
Just after tonight’s implosion at 2nd, nothing Velez does is good right now. heh…

His ass-defense had been hidden in left field up until now. He still looked awful, he just looked awful running circles beneath fly balls instead of looking awful taking routine throws at second.

I was looking for the sole bright side to this game. Last night it was Velez’s hit streak being continued. Tonight I was denied even of that reprieve.

dude/dudette, you are the only one still talking about that.
Throwing at other team’s batters gives them a free runner on base. I am going to assume you know that. Giving more free runners is bad for us. Repeat: giving away free runners on base is bad for us.
