Put Uribe in at short !! Put Edgar on the bench!!
I'm sick of Renteria's no defense, no power , no contact games. Uribe isn't a savior but .280 with a litlle pop is better than renteria is doing.

The lengths at which this team goes to not call up (and play) Frandsen is amazing.
You want to see a walk? Then go watch the mailman.
Pride goes before the fall.
If the team is willing to part with a cheap probable Starter ( albeit bottom of the rotation) to 2011 and forward for a gimpy legged 2nd baseman whose contract is up by then they can darn well can throw Frandsen out there for a week or 2 tell Uribe heals enough. It is by for the cheap ante to make in this beat.
That’s it! Katie bar the door for this 79 win team is star crossed! And I am loving it.
Actually, by UZR, Uribe has been abysmal at SS this year while Rentaria has been almost exactly average.
Still the loving, adoptive father of Hector Sanchez. And who doesn't love switch-hitting catchers with power and patience?
I think his point is to get renteria out of the lineup.

Renteria was no great shakes coming in but now he is injured, and has been for a while, the smart team would limit his exposure instead of carrying like 3 1st basemen. Just a random thought.
My other thought is Molinia, Rowand & Renteria shows why a manger needs to pace his older veterans the first 3-4 months. Now what we have a legit playoff race games and the team is relying on Velez to play key defensive position well. If Renterira is not there someone like Frandsen to play another key defensive position well and very little time on the schedule to make up and screw ups these guys make by not being stellar. Way to go HIIEAADD.

I’m just suggesting it as a possible alternative because Renteria might be better than Molina.

He isn’t
"he walked 18; new league record! Struck out 18, another new league record! He also hit the sportswriter, the PA announcer, the bull mascot twice..."

He hasn’t been, true, but are you certain he won’t be going forward? Who is more likely to rebound from their dismal performance, Molina or Renteria? Just bringing it up for discussion…

Fucking Renteria
You’re making me actually want to see Uribe start.
Proud father of Juan Carlos Perez. Think Albert Pujols at a position to be determined.
@#$% Juan Uribe. Dios es grande.
This is all your fault. You should be ashamed.
