At least he didn’t do it to end the inning…the thing he does where he’s almost taking off his batting gloves and helmet in the same motion as striking out is infuriating. If you strike out to end an inning enough that you’ve developed a little routine around it, maybe it’s time to reevaluate something.

It’s an organizational philosophy that needs to be eliminated. Every single hitter on the Dodgers takes as many pitches as possible, while every hitter on our team hacks. It can’t be just the hitters; it’s obviously more. This is probably why we haven’t had any good hitting prospects the past 15 years besides Sandoval and maybe Mueller

It sounds like Lansford tries to get them to be more patient at the plate, but they don’t fucking listen. Dunston seems to preach a more “aggressive” approach. If your coaches can’t be consistent, don’t expect much from your players.
