That was the least impressive walk ever. He went 0-2, then took one pitch that almost hit him, two that bounced, and one that was a foot and a half off the plate.

And his first AB was as bad as any I’ve ever seen.

We must have been looking at two different at bats, then

The second and third ball both would have been swung at by Bowker last year. They both started out at the bottom of the zone and dipped low.

Not only that, but apparently he swung at some balls in the dirt earlier in the game. To then make the adjustment with two strikes, is actually pretty impressive.

This is just looking for things to complain about, now.

Swinging at any one of those pitches would have been really, really stupid. The best thing you could say about that AB is that he didn’t do anything really, really stupid. That’s not that great a compliment.
