This game is not unlike a native of Nagorno-Karabakh!
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that pie > cake, that Bochy is endowed by his creator with certain undeniable traits, that among these are veteran man-love, a gigantic skull, and the pursuit of the double switch.

You see, the Marlins are the Armenians, because for a long time the Armenians didn’t have a homeland and for a long time Florida didn’t have an MLB team, and the Giants are the Azerbaijanis, because San Francisco is sometimes called Baghdad by the Bay, and Baghdad is principally populated by Muslims, like Azerbaijan!!!!!

Jon & Flemming just mentioned Monte Vista High School
Whch reminds me of a seriously nerdy story.
In high school, I was in Academic Decathlon, which is a national academic competition. At the Contra Costa County competition, I sat behind one guy from Monte Vista, who was wearing a leather jacket that said, “SKINHEAD” on it. Another guy, who overheard saying he joined the team because his teacher said he wouldn’t fail him if he did so, later got up in the middle of a test, shouted, “FUCK IT!” and walked out. They did so badly that the whole team decided to leave midway through.
I don’t think they took the team very seriously, eh?
