Old news

Baggarly reported this on his blog last Thursday:
http://blogs.mercurynews.com/extrabaggs/2009/07/02/pregame-notes-aurilia-wont-be-activated-friday-renteria-off-4th-rounder-stoffel-signs/#more-1611

The BA list is also chronically outdated. The following have all signed long ago and have been playing for the AZL Giants for a few weeks now:
Chris Heston (12 round, P)
Shawn Sanford (13th round, P)
Bryan Salsbury (14th round, P)
Luis Munoz (26th round, OF)
Criag Westcott (30th, P)

In addition the following guy was reported signed several weeks ago, but he’s not listed on any roster yet:
Alex Burg (24th, C)

Burg had kneed surgery last week….but he’ll join the AZL Giants in 4-6 weeks according to this article:

I like him already

Wouldn’t use the crutches after surgery because he didn’t like them.

The crutches slowed his time to first base.
