New Blog: Sounder At Heart for Seattle Sounders Fans!

Scroll down to the June 30 entry and play the sound clip while reading the transcript. Just a great call by Scully of a great Giants/dodgers moment. I hope you all find this Fanshot; I wanted to do it as a post, but figured I would get yelled at.

You'd never make it as an umpire.

Thanks. That sort of prolonged animative discussion would never last that long now , would it?

Stuff like that is pretty cut and dry now that we have the replay rule.

More to the point, it is cut and dry because the poles are now entirely in fair territory, so it doesn't matter where the ball touches it.

If the ball touches it even on the foul side, it’s a home run.

Sounded like a wrestling match.

“Rigney with a left hand, then a right! Drysdale kicks the dirt (like a little bitch)”

"he walked 18; new league record! Struck out 18, another new league record! He also hit the sportswriter, the PA announcer, the bull mascot twice..."

So that was the same game that E described in his Fanpost, Sam Jones’ one-hitter.

We're all basically Pedro Feliz.
