I went with some family members to the game Friday night. We were late, because the dingbats decided to drive from the East Bay. Sitting in traffic and getting shot down when I suggested we turn the car radio to KNBR was not the ideal way to spend the 45 minutes before first pitch. I missed the first inning and a half thanks to the rest of my traveling party. None of them was interested in watching the game.
I realized the lesson. It made me appreciate attending games with people who take baseball seriously. Sure it’s a game, but being late sucks and not paying attention sucks. I need to go to another game very soon either by myself or with people who actually appreciate the game and will do it right.
