That is some pretty good wordplay
Pat yourself on the back.
Status: So pissed that the Giants sold my wall of Ks to Johnsonville Sausages, that I'm boycotting purchasing anything at the park, or patronizing their sponsors.
From Extra Baggs
Manager Bruce Bochy said there will probably be a roster move made after the game. Rich Aurilia is ready to come off the bereavement list and a position player (Fred Lewis? Matt Downs? Maybe even Aurilia?) figures to be the odd-man out. Stay tuned.
Hell you say
For the thirteen time in 3 or one evers, I found myself toothlessly thinking about Manny Ramirez.
It seriously doesn’t make sense to get rid of any position player for Rich Aurilia.
GROUGTHINK ALERT
they must like the idea of Jonathan sanchez, Reliever

It does a disservice to every player in the bullpen to have eight guys there. The Giants barely had enough playing time for seven relievers, much less eight.
GROUGTHINK ALERT
I agree, I’m just saying the Giants seem to like him in the pen for now. If you don’t want to send down Sanchez, then your flexibility is limited, as most of our relievers do not have any options left

Although it seems like Affeldt is out there every day so having another lefty down there isn’t a terrible idea. Just not sure which righty would get the axe

Nope, Pablo backup catcher
It only makes sense on the Giants, because it doesn’t make sense at all

Yamid Haad, Notgardo, Guillermo Rodriguez, Eli Whiteside...
The Giants have really had a thing for awful backup catchers in recent years, haven’t they?
GIANTS HATE STEVE HOLM.
We hold these truths to be self-evident, that pie > cake, that Bochy is endowed by his creator with certain undeniable traits, that among these are veteran man-love, a gigantic skull, and the pursuit of the double switch.

Yeah, I was thinking more of Notgardo’s short but pathetic stint last year.

wouldn't releasing Aurilia make the most sense of all?

yes, which is why aurilia is on the roster. That and the Giants don’t want to look bad by DFAing Aurilia following a bereavement leave

POWER RANKINGS
I see the Giants have ascended to 9th in the Yahoo! power rankings, from 12th last week, and before that, at various levels, all still lower. Only the d——-s and the Brewers are ahead of them among NL teams.
This isn’t worthy of a Fanpost, but BtBS published their new projected standings, and they have us at 81-81, missing the wild card by only two games (to the Cardinals).
