he’s wrong. I’m pretty sure “paralysis by analysis” doesn’t mean what he thinks it means. Unless he honestly thinks batters will go up there thinking “oh, ok, so this LF can cover 10m/s, so I need to hit a line drive 20m away, or a fly ball 35m away from him” etc. which would be stupid. So, naturally, that’s probably what he thinks.
