So how much better is Ishikawa than Aurilia?

Bruce Bochy would like you to look at the career numbers and stop complaining.

by cheno on Jul 18, 2009 6:45 PM PDT reply actions

He has a sliver of potential to get better. Aurilia does not.

by Natto on Jul 18, 2009 6:46 PM PDT up reply actions

What Natto said.

Plus, this year Ishikawa wOBA = .326; Aurilia = .234. So, yeah, Trashy has a chance to improve and he’s already much, much better. Still a long way from an average ML 1B, true, but Aurilia is just unspeakably bad.

I’m really tired of watching this offense.

How can you watch that which does not exist?

by Merope on Jul 18, 2009 6:46 PM PDT up reply actions

We need some pop in the lineup. How about that Bonds fellow? I hear he still wants to play somewhere.
