Cronkite’s autobiography is a fascinating read… dude led quite a life.
A Reporter’s Life
One of the last, maybe the last old school journalist. Us old folks’ll miss him.

Cronkite and Murrow were my early heroes
When I started college and still saw journalism as some noble higher calling, I idolized Cronkite. Now I see that journalism is often drab and annoying (with periods of cool stuff like comped BBQ), but I never lost my admiration for the man.
RIP

RIP. One of my first idols when I was growing up looking at possibly being a journalist.
