Real Baron Stories:

I covered the Arizona Fall League in 2007. Evan Meek was on the Scottsdale team that year. I passed by Lisa Winston on the way to the clubhouse to get Sergio Romo for an interview. Lisa and I said hello, and here comes Meek leaping off the bench to say hello to me and shake my hand. Like OMG ITS CHRIS at me. I hadn’t even met him before. We chatted a bit before I got back to work. He’s a really cool dude. Nothing personal man, but the Giants really need to win.

Noticed it was the 14th inning. Registered moderate surprise. Got a towel. Game Over. WTF.

8 IP, 1 ER? I blame our pathetic fucking excuse for an offense, and the idiot who keep trotting out the shitty offensive players/.

Jonathan Sanchez. He's left-handed, like Barry Zito. His fastball breaks 80, unlike Zito.
