I wouldn’t mind keeping Molina around for another year if he’s batting 6th or 7th and comes fairly cheap on a 1-year deal. If he’s gonna be the cleanup hitter for another year, then let him walk. Tim Lincecum and Matt Cain will still be awesome, even if some retread is behind the dish keeping it warm for Posey.

3 picks in say the top 50 (maybe 60) of June 2010 is not exactly giving away. The thought of Molina out of the #4 spot on a non guaranteed (arbitration accepted) contract is not so bad either. I would lean towards the first over the second though.
