90 wins is usually the minimum required

if everything stayed the same, that record might get you the wildcard, but teams are going to improve at the deadline. Someone will get hot and win 90. Might as well be us.

My Organizational Depth: SF First Baseman

1. Travis Ishikawa
2. Brett Pill
3. Jesus Guzman
4. Big V

and that is not including Pablo Sandoval as a 1b. For Pill to get promoted to AAA Fresno SF must decide what to do with Guzie

by wilriv21 on Jun 27, 2009 4:03 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

I think Bowker is a RF/1B and could play 6 games a week splitting between both positions. If the org wanted a full time 1B, Pill might get the call similarly to how Ishikawa did.

Let’s have Pablo bat repeatedly, throughout the lineup!! Like, whenever we need someone who is able to actually hit. This would really be a boon to the Giants offense, I think.
