So we are on pace for 87/88 wins.. is that enough to make the play offs?
Brandon Crawford: Your SF Giants 2011 Opening Day starting SS!
We is contenders!
You don’t understand. I coulda had class. I coulda been a contender. I coulda been somebody, instead of a bum, which is what I am, let’s face it. It was you, Charley.
I’m Polish too. I would have been here sooner but me and five other Polish guys were screwing in a light bulb. I think this is a one day callup. He’ll pitch Sunday and go back to the minors and then a position player will be called up, probably Frandsen.
Proud new dad of Edgardo errr Edgar Renteria!!!
Lineup
Rowand, CF
Winn, LF
Sandoval, 3B
Molina, C
Schierholtz, RF
Renteria, SS
Ishikawa, 1B
Uribe, 2B
Wito, P
Brand new adoptive daddy for the Big Unit. Congrats go out to my son for his 300th win. Only 211 more wins until he catches Cy Young!
Schierholtz has become a regular. Downs get set down on the bench. BMoney today, Eli to catch the Pole tomorrow
Nate " ball in play" Schierholtz behind Molina. I am supose to hope Molinia’s cold streak keeps on?
Well at least the struggleing Renteria is out of the #2 spot.
Yes, This is still a 79 win squad.
Where is my beer & chili dog?
bochy hates inside-the-park homeruns
and if there’s one way to guarantee that, it’s by putting nate behind bengie.
OK check it out, folks

While waiting for the Giants game
I have to deal with Buck/McCarver on FOX since I want to watch baseball and all there is on where I live is Cubs vs. White Sox.
Never been big on rushing the kids. Gordon Beckham of the ChiSox is batting .175 with 5 errors. Why the rush?
Haven’t you heard? Rush is big around here

Chris Dominguez: Bringing dingerz back to The Bay (In a while)
I won’t give FOX the satisfaction of watching any of their poopy games. Instead I’ve spent a thrilling after noon cleaning the cat box, watering plants, and trying to get the factory issued insoles out of my turf shoes.
Oh the joy!
Why are companies still gluing insoles into shoes? Almost everyone I know has their own custom arch supports or insoles… dummies….

My Organizational Depth: SF First Baseman
1. Travis Ishikawa
2. Brett Pill
3. Jesus Guzman
4. Big V
and that is not including Pablo Sandoval as a 1b. For Pill to get promoted to AAA Fresno SF must decide what to do with Guzie
Bowker probably would get into a platoon at first before Pill

I think Bowker is a RF/1B and could play 6 games a week splitting between both positions. If the org wanted a full time 1B, Pill might get the call similarly to how Ishikawa did.

but the Giants think he can play first and whether a trade thins out the herd is speculation, not the current situation.

Would anyone have even a half baked idea as to why the Giants/ dodgers game on Friday September 18th has a TBD start time? It’s a Friday game, not a Saturday game …what’s up with that?
We haven’t done our “2nd annual” meet up at McCovey’s and iirc last year’s was a Friday night dodger game. That’s the only Friday away game vs the demonspawn left this season.
