UZR likes him right now. He’s right at an average defender of CF which is much better than the -6 runs he put up last year. I still think he looks slow at times, but he’s looked better this year.

Yeah, the broken rib from the first series last year was news to me.

Proud father of Juan Carlos Perez. Think Albert Pujols at second.

He actually does look better in the field this year than he did last year. Even his throwing his better. I’ve actually seen him reach the cutoff man a couple of times this year.

Proud new dad of Edgardo errr Edgar Renteria!!!

I am kind of in this boat.

Better? – Oh Yes.
Good? – Not really.
Good for a veteran that is should be up on the finer points of teh defensive side of the game? – Not so much.

Still half a loaf is better than none.

Yes, This is still a 79 win squad.
Where is my beer & chili dog?

I’m not sure his throwing has really improved, but to the naked eye he seems to have much better range, especially on balls in the left-center gap.

THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME (for 3 days in 1995).
