Pablo walk

this is the stuff that really encourages me about him

Jonathan Sanchez. He's left-handed, like Barry Zito. His fastball breaks 80, unlike Zito.

If Pablo can frigging adapt, why the hell does he swing at everything?

they did. the “Williams Shift.” They put all 4 infielders to the left of 2nd base.

Bonds did that ONCE. Vs Oakland

by SFGuy on Jun 24, 2009 8:59 PM PDT up reply actions   0 recs

He did it a few times

I remember he did it against the Braves one time and got a double out of it.

I also remember he hit a homer against the Rockies in the 4th inning of a game in 2001, but it hurt his back a little bit and moving his back became a little painful. When he came up again in the 5th, he tried a bunt hit, but it went foul. So he hit an opposite-way homer.

Barry Bonds: Dude could hit.
