A very strange baseball fight; from Korea, apparently. Any theories?

I love YouTube commenters
i enjoy going to baseball games quite a bit. i eat a lot of hotdogs and drink plenty of beers. the thing is, the combination of those two things really makes me gassy. it’s not all bad though. there’s something about leaning forward and farting into that crack in the seat down there. when i hear the people behind me ask one another, “what the hell is that smell?” I find it deeply satisfying.

From "Beyond the Box Score" on mlb.com
“Hopping mad: A video clip depicting a rather mysterious Korean baseball fight has been popular viewing recently on Internet sites like YouTube and Digg. The clip, narrated in Korean, shows a batter charging the mound after being hit in the arm by a pitch. But, before he can tackle the pitcher, the batter stops short and starts hopping around and holding one leg. The pitcher also starts hopping around, which precipitates a bench-clearing binge of mass hopping. It turns out, the hopping altercation was staged as a parody of baseball brawls and was part of a celebrity baseball game in Korea.”
I like cats. Wings is the greatest show of all time.
I bet they rank them higher than the Giants!

I love Asian Baseball
Nothing brings a nation together and hate on its neighbors quite like baseball. I remember the agonizing losses to Korea and Japan in the 1999 Asian Games, and how incredible it was to come back from 4-2 down in the 9th to beat Korea in the 2003 games and earning a ticket to the 2004 Athens games.

Sometimes, I wish international baseball is more popular in the states so I can adorn the proper colors and go all U S A U S A around the block.
That’s why I enjoy the WBC so much. I was so happy to see Ichiro beat Korea in that game and watch the faces of the Korean players in agony. I remember my dad calling me from Taiwan and said “Thank God for Ichiro, I’d rather the Japanese win the championship than the God Damn Koreans”
I love Basball.
Holy shit. That’s a lot of racism right there.

I have a Korean coworker who hates Ichiro’s guts. He also happens to be a Dodger fans, so we know he’s not right in the mind.
