I liked “Moneyball,” and I think it is a great baseball story, but I just don’t see how a compelling movie can be made out of it. The story is not compelling enough to be attractive to most audiences.
Still, with Soderbergh and Pitt on board, I think the chances of the project restarting are good.

Formula for making Moneyball a compelling movie = Add Transformers
Rinse, repeat until good.

I can’t wait to see the 150 hard cuts in the middle of one Eric Chavez at bat. I’ll kind of be able to make out his ankle for a second, and I might see a bat handle somewhere, but it will at least look cool. Probably. On second thought, I’m not even sure that was an at bat. There were too many cuts. How could I make out anything?

A scantily clad Megan Fox seduces Sandy Alderson (played by Bradley Whitford from “The West Wing”) while the smash Aerosmith song “Let’s Get On Base” plays in the background.
