Is it just me or Rowand becoming slowly unhateable in the leadoff spot. The combination of his hot streak / the comicalness of Rowand in the leadoff spot and succeeding have made me start to like him

25-24 - Giants Series Record: 10-5-2, 8-1 at home
Adopted Giant: Daryl "Dealio" Maday - 2nd bad start in a row. 5 ER, 7 H and 3 BB in only 4 1/3 IP. Overall ERA has risen to 3.99. Time to shape up, son. A thought: Maday has given up either 0, 1, 2, or 3 ER in every start except his last two, both of which have been against Portland. We'll blame it on those Sea Dogs!

Functional? Not really. A couple of those runs were due to the crazy hijinks of the Nats. I’m not all that excited about the way the Giants lunge for first pitches, fail to work the count, and otherwise look bad at the plate.
