A thought: Maday has given up either 0, 1, 2, or 3 ER in every start except his last two, both of which have been against Portland. We'll blame it on those Sea Dogs!

Functional? Not really. A couple of those runs were due to the crazy hijinks of the Nats. I’m not all that excited about the way the Giants lunge for first pitches, fail to work the count, and otherwise look bad at the plate.
